Man, I really suck at this.
So my life has been a whirlwind since the last post. I have been caught up with moving, creating our dream home, work and school. It’s been a crazy journey but I can’t be happier. In February, I stated we started looking for a home that we could grow into, we found that home! We moved into our new home in late April after a crazy period in dealing with the sale of my old home as well as the purchase of our new home. Figured that all out and now we are happily moved in and making this house a home. In another post I will post my project of creating a home theater!
In my work life I have started a new journey in that being a GSE Administrator. Basically, what a GSEA is, is a trainer to get other employees qualified to the equipment. GSE is short for ground support equipment. Working at FedEx, there is a lot of different equipment that we have to use to make sure your packages make it to you on time and undamaged. Like FedEx’s moto is The World on Time, we do everything we can to make sure your package makes it to you on time!
I’ll be honest, I don’t want to be an instructor personally but thinking about the benefits of being an instructor, I couldn’t pass it up. I am a very private person, and I don’t socialize much. Being an instructor this has forced me to interact with people on a daily basis and is helping me grow as an individual. Another benefit for being an instructor is that you can be the difference for an employee staying with the company. You have the ability to show new employees everything the company can offer you, whether it be staying in the group they are in or showing other operations. If you ever have the option to train a person or a group of people, take it!
In my personal life, I’m still dating my wonderful girlfriend. She’s the best, and I’m ready to go the next step! I have decided once I do a couple more mods to my PC I will start streaming game play. I am pump for this new Call of Duty to come out. I think they finally went back to what made the game the best. Be on the look out for the stream!
Lastly, I made my local news debut! I was selected to represent my employer, FedEx Express in looking to higher my workers for the upcoming peak season! Check out the video below!
